The GK3 conference is getting closer and as part of our efforts, we are launching this section of the website hoping that online interactions will engage a broader audience, leveraging a suite of collaborative technologies to link face-to-face events with expert and grassroots voices from around the globe.

Fifty six sessions and four plenaries – on technologies, people and markets – that 's what on offer at GK3. The program conference is out and this week, I cast my gender lens over session descriptions to see what the odds are in favor of gender being integrated as a cross cut in the event.

Welcome. This blog was developed as a way to first inform you about the activities relating to women, gender, and ICTs in the GK3 conference and then provide a forum for your thoughts and input. GKP has taken a very innovative and, some might say, courageous approach to integrating the gendered perspective throughout GK3.
